Australia has launched Decipher (www.decipher.biz), what is being termed as the world's largest tourism business information portal. The portal shares latest facts, trends, statistics and advisories with tourism organisation and other stakeholders in

Decipher has aggregated, sorted and arranged thousands of pieces of data
and information from over 200 different national and specialist
suppliers. Decipher scours the information repositories of the
Australian Bureau of Statistics, Tourism Research Australia (formerly
BTR), SENSIS, AAA Tourism, State Tourism Organisations among others.

The portal has sections such as information supplier directory and
knowledge browser. Apart from this, there is a section - `Resources by
type', which under its segment Decipher in Action has information on
accommodation in Canberra, The Australian Italian Festival, case studies
such as looking at the Eyre Peninsula regional tourism organisation and
the steps it took to promote the area as a visitor destination,
Ulladulla Food and Wine Festival by the Sea.

There is a section called `Resources by region', which shares
information on accommodation industry (Australian Bureau of Statistics
(ABS) survey of employing businesses in the accommodation industry), an
analysis of domestic and international visitors who experience
Aboriginal culture in Victoria, Australian National Parks (and other
Protected Areas) as tourism attractions, internet and e-commerce among
others.

through. Instead key-word searching with Decipher returns specific
tourism data and information already pre-categorised against a
comprehensive tourism-specific dictionary and then time-sorted so you

statement.

Decipher offers five customised report builders to arrange and publish
collected knowledge in standard business report formats for competitive
