IDeaS Revenue Optimization will address the need for hotels to be `SMARTE' about their marketing campaigns at the upcoming EyeforTravel Distribution Summit to be held in Singapore.

Grahame Tate, IDeaS Asia Pacific Managing Director, will lead a practical discussion on the 1st of April 2009, entitled Are you being SMARTE with your marketing strategies?

“Hotels need to be SMARTE (Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic, Timely and Efficient) with their marketing campaigns, especially during these uncertain economic times. Asia Pacific hoteliers need to ensure that their marketing strategies are in line with their forecast demand patterns if they wish to maximise their revenue potential,” said Tate.

The SMARTE discussion will explore how effective revenue management techniques can be synchronised with demand generating sales and marketing efforts, enabling hotels to maximise their ongoing revenue potential.

For those interested in attending the SMARTE discussion at the 2009 Eye for Travel Distribution Summit, please refer to http://events.eyefortravel.com/tdsasia/revenue/agenda.asp. The discussion will be facilitated by Grahame Tate and will be held on The 1st of April 2009 at 11.45 AM.
