JTA Travel has implemented software development company Dolphin Dynamics' travel platform throughout their business.
Dolphin will be used in both the Birmingham headquarters and Glasgow call centre, to manage the consolidator and tour operation businesses.
Dolphin's booking management module is already live, and the reservation module will be phased in over the coming months.
With all modules fully integrated with JTA's GDS, Amadeus, Dolphin's solution allows JTA to streamline their operation as well as reduce the work required to manage the complexities of their consolidation business. SPS payment collection, self-billing invoicing and ATOL reporting are just a few of the particular areas where the level of automation provided by Dolphin's booking management module will deliver major benefits, according to a release.
As part of the Dolphin solution, JTA will also be starting to offer their agents the ability to log into a dedicated website to check their statements online, review previous bookings or reprint any travel or financial documentation as required.
