IDeaS Revenue Optimization, a SAS company, has appointed David Nelson as vice president of technology.

He will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of IDeaS’ research and development process, including the design, development, implementation and testing of IDeaS’ multi-tier architecture.

Nelson brings vast experience in Software as a Service (SaaS) from his previous position with Thomson-Reuters Corporation. While with Thomson-Reuters, Nelson developed and implemented a strategic SaaS based information delivery system and led research and development efforts to deploy a nation-wide pharmaceutical information system.
