According to the company, a software development one that specialises in developing integrated information solutions for the travel industry, TravelScanner is a next generation, browser-based selling tool that builds on the proven strengths of FlightScanner.

TravelScanner not only searches and books web fares but extends this functionality to car hire, insurance and tailor-made packages, as well as charter flights, plus net and published fares, with further plans to add hotels later this year. Furthermore, TravelScanner incorporates a sophisticated and flexible pricing and mark-up engine that enables travel agents to maximise yield from their travel product sales.

Dolphin Dynamics have fully integrated TravelScanner with its flagship fulfilment system, Dolphin Travel Manager, to create a comprehensive unified booking, fulfilment, mid & back office suite.

Roberto Da Re, Dolphin Dynamics president said, “Traditionally agents have had to book using one system and fulfil from another, now Dolphin’s integrated solution means they can make and manage bookings through their entire lifecycle in a single system.”

This convergence of technology into one multi-channel travel point of sale and management system delivers unprecedented automation and productivity gains while enabling agents to maximise sales, says the company.
