Expedia.com and Sam's Club, a division of Wal-Mart Stores, Inc., announced a partnership under which the online travel company will serve as the exclusive travel partner to power travel bookings for Sam's Club.

With this development, more than 47 million Sam's Club Members can access the
Expedia-powered booking tools, travel content, and vacation packages, flights,
hotels, rental cars, cruises and in-destination activities, attractions and
services.

Expedia is powering Sam's Club Travel through Worldwide Travel Exchange
(WWTE), which provides travel booking solutions for companies looking to
enhance their own travel offering with cross-sell and dynamic packaging
solutions, and access to highly competitive travel products and services.

"At Sam's Club, our sole purpose is to provide our members the best product
and service at the best price. This partnership with Expedia allows us to
achieve that objective and to also provide our members the best selection and
world class customer service for travel and entertainment booking," said Philip
Malcolm, vice president - membership card and services strategy, Sam's Club.

"This is a winning solution for all parties and most importantly, Sam's Club
Members, as it grants them access to virtually unlimited travel possibilities.
Sam's Club wins by deepening our ability to meet our Members needs, and Expedia
benefits by expanding its customer base," said Malcolm.
