The integrated service - which is expected to be available in the third quarter of calendar 2006 - will create a co-branded accommodation portal within the ninemsn site, with Wotif.com’s fast and easy-to-use booking engine integrated into various locations.

The agreement will also provide Wotif.com with additional content integration and media support throughout the ninemsn network.

A release from Wotif.com shared that under the deal, the 7.69 million people (as at January 2006) who visit the ninemsn site each month will be able to access the broad range of accommodation and rates offered on Wotif.com, which sells accommodation online in over 35 countries.

Graeme Wood, chief executive officer, Wotif.com said the potential benefits from partnering with ninemsn are compelling.

“This deal enables us to significantly increase the reach of our accommodation offering and to drive brand recognition,” he said. “It is particularly exciting to be able to increase the exposure for our accommodation suppliers to the vast audience that uses the ninemsn site, and this is another benefit we can provide to our accommodation partners.”

Wotif.com attracts almost 1 million users, who make over 110,000 bookings through our 28-day booking window.
