Accommodation specialist Bedbank.net has signed a deal with Kwik Travel to supply homeworkers and high-street retailers its offerings.

Bedbank.net has agreed a deal to become the sole provider of accommodation-only inventory to Kwik Travel’s home-working network. The deal is expected to boost Bedbank’s annual turnover by up to £7 million annually through its exposure to Kwik Travel’s customer base.

According to a statement, as part of the deal Kwik Travel will integrate its existing supply of holiday beds into Bedbank’s online service. In return for channelling its accommodation through Bedbank, Kwik Travel’s homeworkers will have access to the entire bed stock of Bedbank via a white-label solution called kwikbeds.com.

“The deal is a win-win situation for both parties giving Bedbank additional stock in the most popular holiday destinations while supplying Kwik Travel’s homeworkers with access to an unrivalled accommodation booking service. Kwik Travel, one of the UK’s leading home-working networks, has built up an enviable supply of holiday accommodation in Spain and the rest of the Mediterranean in recent years,” stated the release.

Bedbank chief executive Peter Healey said: “These sorts of partnerships are exactly what agents should be seeking going forward. The deal is mutually beneficial and marries sophisticated booking technology with massive bed stock in the best destinations.”

Bedbank is a joint venture between home-working network Future Travel and technology specialist the Vertical Group.
